Weekly Drag Racing Events
Firebird International Raceway proudly hosts Friday Night Drags almost every week throughout the year. This program allows novices all the way up to professionals to race like the pros on our NHRA sanctioned 1/4 Mile Dragstrip.

October 2, 3, 4, 2009 - NHRA Division 7 ET Finals
NHRA Summit Racing Series racers compete for points and cash awards at a number of qualifying events at 140 NHRA member tracks throughout North America . Drivers who earn the most points are eligible to compete for individual and team honors at the NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals in each of NHRA's seven divisions.
ALL TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-EXCHANGEABLE.

October 3, 2009 - Whiplash Off Road Racing
B>This is a New Event.
The race will be a GP and the course will consist of short course, desert and motocross. It will go through the now famous Firebird Motorcross track and then out into the desert area along I-10, then heading back over to the asphalt for the Pit Area. This is a motorcycle, atv, utv, and kids event. Come out and give it a try!!!

October 30, 31 - November 1, 2009 - Whiplash Off Road Racing
This is an annual event that features short course racing, along with the Ivan Stewart Pro Trucks series at Firebird Raceway. Get ready to see what the Pro Trucks are all about as they race the course this weekend. Expect big jumps, fast turns and door to door bar to bar racing in front of the biggest crowds you'll see as a desert racer.

The IHBA Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series thunders back to Firebird Lake for the finals of their 2009 Season, November 19-22, 2009! Top Fuel Hydros power down the Liquid Quarter Mile in less than 5 seconds with speeds reaching more than 250 mph!
